The Windbridge Research Center, an Arizona non-profit corporation, was founded on July 21, 2017. On February 22, 2018, the Center was granted federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status as a public charity. Donors can deduct contributions to the Windbridge Research Center under Internal Revenue Code Section 170. (Check with your tax professional for more information.)
Donations are used to offset the costs of the Center’s two-fold mission: performing rigorous scientific research and providing free educational materials in order to alleviate suffering around the topics of dying, death, and what comes next.
These costs include:
- Maintaining the www.windbridge.org website and its content
- Creating free educational videos and fact sheets
- Publishing Threshold: Journal of Interdisciplinary Consciousness Studies (TJICS), a free, online-only, open access, peer-reviewed journal
- Supporting researchers’ time for designing and performing innovative experiments, analyzing data, and writing and publishing study results.
