Our Mission
The mission of the Windbridge Research Center is to ease suffering around dying, death, and what comes next by performing rigorous scientific research and sharing the results and other customized content with the general public, clinicians (like medical and mental health professionals), scientists (like researchers and philosophers), and practitioners (like mediums).
Our History
The Windbridge Research Center, located in Tucson, Arizona, USA, was co-founded by husband and wife research team Mark Boccuzzi and Julie Beischel, PhD, in July 2017. The Center took over the peer-reviewed research on the topics of life after death and after-death communication that had been conducted at the Windbridge Institute, LLC, since 2008. The Center also added outreach and educational activities to complement its research programs.
On February 22, 2018, the Windbridge Research Center was granted US federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Today, Mark volunteers as the Executive Director and Dr. Beischel serves as Director of Research.

Our Commitment To Free, Open Access Content
As a charitable organization, we believe we must provide access to our research and educational materials to everyone at no cost. We accomplish this by working closely with other organizations that embrace this open access ethic. In cases where it may not be possible to provide free access to some materials (for example, many academic publishers place research manuscripts behind paywalls), we create videos, factsheets, and other resources that summarize new findings. These resources are then published on our website under the Creative Commons License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) so that they can be freely shared for noncommercial use.
