Forever Family Foundation's missions include establishing the
existence of the continuity of the family, even though a member
has left the physical world; stimulating thought among the curious,
those questioning their relationship to the universe, and people
who are looking for explanations of certain phenomena; financially
supporting the continued research into survival of consciousness
and afterlife science; and providing a forum where individuals
and families who have suffered the loss of a loved one can turn
for support, information, and hope through state-of-the-art
information and services provided by ongoing research into the
survival of consciousness and afterlife science.
Rhine Research Center
the past 70 years, the Rhine Center has been researching and
studying the experimental science of parapsychology. Now in
the 21st century, the Rhine Center continues the mission and
work of its founder J.B. Rhine with a broadened scope directed
deeper into the Study of Consciousness. ESP cards and dice games
have long since been replaced by modern techniques that allow
more subtle measurements of psi, such as by looking at the physiological
changes or bioenergy characteristics of psychics and healers,
or by measuring the telepathic awareness of emotional targets
in a simulated dream-like situation. The Rhine Center offers
online audio and video files to members and a variety of local
events to the general public including a Summer Psi Camp.
of Virginia -- DOPS
The Division of Perceptual Studies (DOPS), founded by Dr. Ian
Stevenson, is a unit of the Department of Psychiatric Medicine
at the University of Virginia. Utilizing scientific methods,
they investigate apparent paranormal phenomena, especially:
Children Who Claim to Remember Previous Lives (reincarnation),
Near-Death Experiences, Out of Body Experiences, Apparitions
and After-Death Communications, and Deathbed Visions. The staff
of DOPS is interested in personal accounts of these types of
experiences; you can contact them by email through their site.
Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS)
is a nonprofit membership organization located in Northern California
that conducts and sponsors leading-edge research into the potentials
and powers of consciousness-including perceptions, beliefs,
attention, intention, and intuition. The Institute explores
phenomena that do not necessarily fit conventional scientific
models, while maintaining a commitment to scientific rigor.
Victor J. Zammit: A Lawyer Presents the Case for the Afterlife
Victor Zammit's site aims to provide an up-to-date, comprehensive
overview of the empirical and scientific evidence for the afterlife.
It focuses on areas of evidence which are objective and repeatable
and which can be supported by experiments and empirical observations.
The site is the work of researchers Victor and Wendy Zammit
who have been researching the objective, scientific evidence
for the afterlife for almost 20 years. The Zammits offer a free
weekly online newsletter.
The PA is an international professional organization of scientists
and scholars engaged in the study of 'psi'' (or 'psychic') experiences,
such as telepathy, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, psychic healing,
and precognition ("parapsychology"). The PA website
offers links to online psychic experiments, surveys, and questionnaires,
as well as links to parapsychology journals and organizations.
The Parapsychology Foundation, a worldwide forum supporting
scientific exploration of psychic phenomena, gives grants, publishes
pamphlets, monographs, conference proceedings and the International
Journal of Parapsychology, and maintains the Eileen J. Garrett
Library with its collection of more than 12,000 volumes and
100 periodicals on parapsychology and related topics. The Foundation
encourages and supports impartial scientific inquiry into such
seemingly psychical aspects of human nature as telepathy, clairvoyance,
precognition, psychokinesis, mediumship, ghosts and hauntings,
the out-of-body experience, and reincarnation, and provides
professional resources, information, and referrals to both the
academic and lay communities worldwide
Association of Near-Death Studies (IANDS)
IANDS is the only professional organization in the world devoted
exclusively to the study of near-death and related experiences.

Certificate in Parapsychology
The HCH Institute, An Institute for Hypnotherapy and Psycho-Spiritual
Trainings in Lafayette, California, is now offering a Certificate
Program in "Parapsychological Studies: The Study of Psychic
Phenomena." The certificate program is a 60-hour overview
of the field of Parapsychology and its main areas of research
and investigation. The individual courses include an Introduction
to Parapsychology, Ghost Hunting, Psychokinesis and Precognition,
Being Psychic, and the Search for Life After Death. The program's
instructor is Loyd Auerbach, one of the few people in this country

via a distance learning option (with or without certification).
for Scientific Exploration (SSE)
The SSE is a multi-disciplinary professional organization of
scientists and other scholars committed to the rigorous study
of unusual and unexplained phenomena that cross traditional
scientific boundaries and may be ignored or inadequately studied
within mainstream science. The SSE publishes a peer reviewed
journal, the Journal of Scientific Exploration (JSE), and holds
annual scientific meetings in the USA and periodic meetings
in Europe. Topics addressed in its journal and in its regular
meetings cover a wide spectrum, ranging from real or apparent
anomalies in well-established areas of science to paradoxical
phenomena that belong to no established discipline.
for Psychical Research (SPR)
The SPR, located in the United Kingdom, was the first organization
established to examine allegedly paranormal phenomena using
scientific principles. Their aim is to learn more about events
and abilities commonly described as "psychic" or "paranormal"
by supporting research, sharing information and encouraging
debate. SPR members, who come from all over the world and represent
a variety of academic and professional interests, have access
to a comprehensive online library as well as the full content
of SPR's publications from the very first issues to the present
day and a number of out-of-print classic books and materials
housed at the SPR libraries in London and Cambridge.
